Brette Hawks, the owner, baker, and designer of Salt Creek Cake, has been working in the food industry for over a decade and brings a professional and warm energy to planning your wedding cake. Brette is an internationally recognized cake artist, and has been featured by Wilton, Cake Master, American Cake Decorating Magazine, NY Cake, The Bake Fest, and Utah Valley Bride Magazine. Meet the cake artist
Brette Hawks is the owner and artist of Salt Creek Cake. She has a bachelor's degree in Food Science, has worked in almost every facet of the food industry, including experience in a professional bakery. She has been serving up beautiful, delicious cakes here in Utah Valley for 6 years now.

Brette originally launched her wedding cake business under the name of Hobble Creek Cake, paying homage to the nearby canyon of her hometown. After relocating to Nephi, Utah, the bakery made the transition to Salt Creek Cake, a name that also pays tribute to the local heritage and breathtaking mountain surroundings.
In addition to creating gorgeous cakes, she loves teaching the craft of cake to others and has taught over 200 students both in person and online, and runs a coaching business to help other home bakers get their businesses up and running.
